| FELLOWSHIPS Men of Valor This Fellowship comprises of ALL men in the congregation – married, divorced, widowed and fathers irrespective of age. The fellowship seeks to model Godly characteristics in every area of our daily lives with total commitment to spiritual development and excellence within us, our families and community and to develop valuable lasting relationships throughout the body of Christ, regardless of race, color, ethnic background and/or culture. Good Women This Fellowship comprises of ALL women in the congregation – married, divorced, widowed and mothers irrespective of age. The purpose of this Women's ministry is biblical fellowship centered on issues concerning women so that they may "stimulate one another to love and good deeds" Hebrews 10:24 and be equipped for life, ministry and mission. The ministry events focus on the specific needs of today's successful Christian woman. We teach women how to be a powerful Godly force in their homes, workplace, and marriage. Teens This Fellowship comprises of ALL members of the congregation that are between the ages of 13 and 19 years. The ministry coordinator is appointed by the Pastor in charge and assisted by an Assistant Coordinator. Our teachers identify the various stages of growth they are at, scripturally explaining many subjects of their interest. They provide the teens with helpful insight for the teenage world. In the light of the impressionable and often confused teenage minds, we recognize the importance of meeting them on their levels. They are also being taught how to maximize the full potentials of teenage years. As a result, our teens develop a clearer understanding of topics specifically relating to teenagers, such as self image, school, friendship, drugs, courtship etc. All topics are expounded with the scriptures as the base line. The Teens Church service runs concurrently with the Adult services on Sundays. Children this is a unique ministry, in that it comprises of ALL children in the congregation between the ages of 2 and 12years. The purpose of the ministry is to help parents guide their children in developing spiritually, socially, mentally and physically. The ministry is committed to helping each child feel loved and valued by God, and to also assist their overall spiritual development from a tender age “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6 The Children Ministry seeks to help children develop an understanding of God’s purpose and plan for their lives, develop their identity in Christ, discover and use the gifts (spiritual, physical and mental) that God has deposited in them and provide learning in a fun-filled, child-centered, Christ dominated environment. The children are taught using a variety of different methods which includes audio visual methods, reading from the bible and bible stories, dramas, songs and presentations and structured plays. |
