Our Core Values

Tabernacle of Peace has a set of core values that directs our actions and motivates us at all times

  • We value fellowship for we believe that man is created for fellowship both with God and with one other. In fellowship we lift each other up. Hebrew 10:25; 1 John 1:3; 1 John 1:7
  • We value people. Man was created in the image of God who demonstrated His unique love for the human race by providing His son Jesus Christ as propitiation for sin, and the gift of life by Him. John 3:16-17; Psalm 8:4; Romans 5:5-8; Genesis 1:26
  • We value diversity for we believe that heaven consists of people from diverse nation, race and culture. Therefore Tabernacle of Peace is a place where people from different background are welcome and made comfortable. Acts 10:35; Revelation 14:6; Galatians 3:28
  • We value teamwork for more is achieved for God when we come together in unity of purpose. Teamwork makes each individual more effective. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Psalm 133:1
  • We value excellence for we know that we serve a God who is excellent in nature. We strive to move above mediocrity in all our endeavors. Psalm 8:1; Psalm 150:2; Daniel 5:12; Mathew 5:48
  • We value integrity for we are the letters of God written unto all the people. Therefore, we will conduct all our affairs both in public and private in all honesty and truthfulness so that the name of Jesus will not be reproached. 1 Peter 1:15; Ephesians 4:15; 2 Corinthians 13:8
  • We value marriage and marital fidelity for the home is the bedrock of the Church and the society. God is very much interested in marriages more so for the upbringing of children in the nature and admonition of the Lord. Genesis 2: 18-21; Malachi 2:15; 1 Corinthians 7:2-3; Hebrews 13:4
  • We value prayer both as a means of worship as well as communicating with our heavenly father. We are commanded to pray always and we believe in its prevailing power. 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Luke 18:1; James 5:13-18
